Piercings should only be touched to clean or adjust your jewelry.
(The less you mess with it, the better it will heal)
Spray directly on the piercing. Make sure to clean off any and all debris. This should be done 2-3 times a day depending on lifestyle.
DO NOT OVERUSE
(If debris is stubborn, rinse longer in the shower, do not touch or use q-tips)
You can also use a clean shirt on your pillows during the healing process. As well as keeping makeup away from the area.
They are open puncture wounds. This means that they will more than likely be prone to bleeding in the beginning, and sore potentially for a few days. Ibuprofen and/or a cold compress may help relieve these symptoms.
Peroxide, rubbing alcohol, ear piercing solutions, tea tree oil, ointments, harsh soaps, saline eyewash or drops, fragrance, lotion, or makeup on healing piercings.
Doing so breaks the new growth of skin forming and delays healing time.
Surgical Steel jewelry contains Nickel, as well as Sterling Silver, so it is best to avoid these metals.
We are a full service piercing studio and want to make sure you are healing properly. To do this, we ask that you please return after 2-6 weeks, depending on the piercing, for a checkup and possible downsize.
